In 1976, in the middle of the dictatorship, Chile imposed the highest tax rate in the world on books. The official reason: books were considered a dangerous weapon. Forty years later, military weapons are still tax-exempt as "matters of national interest". Books are not. For Librería Pehuén we printed books in the shape of weapons: the only way a book pays no taxes in Chile is by being printed as a gun. Two finalists at Cannes 2018, Print & Publishing and Outdoor.

Para la Librería Pehuén imprimimos libros en forma de armas: la única manera de que un libro no pague impuestos en Chile es imprimirlo como pistola.
